Character Design - Storyboard Exercises

For this weeks character design we looked at storyboards, how to put them together, the types of shots in them and the emotions conveyed through the use of composition and angles.

The first task was to pic a scene from movie we enjoy and redraw it and figure out what each shot was and the use of it in the scene, I picked the Headless Horseman chase from one of my favourite Disney Classics, The Adventures of Icabod Crane and Mr Toad.

The next task we were given a location and had to direct a chase scene and look at the type of angles and compositions that would work for the scenes was given the location of a subway.
