More Armilla Thumbnails
Getting ready and on my way to class I was inspired to create more thumbnails for this city as I saw objects that invoked the feeling of the place. I decided to work on top of photographs of the objects in order to provide context on how the city works, transportation, farming and power production. I'm happy with the results and would definitely want to develop further with this idea by working in more detail via photoshop.
As discussed, I find this approach to be inventive and exciting, Louis - love the idea of you extending drawings out of these 'seed' photographs - they're giving you perspectival cues and also helping you suggest scale successfully too.

ReplyDeleteThese are a really good way of thinking how the city works. I like the bridge between taps in the first thumbnail and thumbnail 3 is looking good too. I look forward to seeing the developed ones!
