Sophronia Exterior Establishing shot
Its not perfect by any means but I'm happy with the progress I've made with digital painting considering its vey new to me. Its a development of on elf my original thumbnails but with added detail and influence. My aim was to create a whimsical yet dark look on the city combining both halves with a Victorian Circus and Dr Seuss feel.
This is looking confident, Louis... just an observation; do think that tent might look even punchier if you added stripes? It might contrast more so with some of the flatter 'boring' elements of Sophronia.. it just feels that tent could work a bit harder for you?
