Premise - ED. Venture animation & VHS effect

For my film I want to get the authenticity of an old 80s Commercial/Cartoon so as part of my animatic in decided to make a rough animation of Ed from the quick animated part of my advert. Other than to create that scene I wanted to show the crackling effect I aim to achieve for my film, with muffled audio.
